  1. older girls, 13 and up, should read this:
The Amy Green series by Sarah Webb
Younger girls, eight to twelve should read this:
The Alice Miranda series by Jacqueline Harvey

    • by the way, Amy Green books are about a teen called Amy who’s aunt is seventeen and is an agony aunt in a teen magazine! They help fellow teens with problems and they write really good tips. Parents, These books do have boys and kissing in it but it is definitely not as bad as some of the other books I’ve read!!

Alice Miranda is an addictive series, even I read them sometimes! It’s about a girl called Alice Miranda who goes to a Boarding School and makes HEAPS of friends. Each book in the series is very well written and I love how each story has a big problem at the end!

I will try and review other books on my blog too!

    • 1. yes only one and I’ve also seen the movie!! :)

      2. Yes I do, she’s very smart and creative and excellent in a crisis!

      3. Yes! I LOVE detective work and pretending to be spies! I am working on a murder at the moment called case: Ramsey. It’s about a four year old, Jon Benet Ramsey.

      4. I had to think about this one because I am a BIG bookworm. I have read six books, including divergent which was AMAZING, in the last four days. I read sooooo much! My fave character though would be……. um…… OMG this is hard!…… Honey Tanberry in the book Sweet Honey by Cathy Cassidy. This book is for older reader but my best friend and I TOTALLY agree that Cathy has done an AMAZING job. Honey is a teenager who is angry cos her mums remarried and Honey misses her Dad. She’s a teen with problems but loves drawing. she moves to Australia where her dad is and that’s where the trouble starts! She get’s cyber bullied and isn’t liked at her new school. I love the way that she doesn’t break down and cry in these situations tho! She stands strong and that’s what I admire. Her confidence.

      5. Jacqueline Wilson has REALLY good books but Cathy Cassidy is my FAVOURITE!!! They both have books for younger and older readers which is so good!

  2. 1. I have read a Nancy Drew book, but I forget what it was called…
    2. Nancy as a character is probably a good thing. The books would be called something else, wouldn’t they?
    3. I’m nothing like Nancy Drew… We are complete opposites. Totally. I make music all day and go to Cyber School and I don’t hang around and solve mysteries.
    4. Probably Nancy, at times she is just so curious.
    5. I would recommend “The Giver”. It doesn’t have to do anything will girls, but it is just an amazing book. I loved it, and I got hooked on it. The author is Lois Lowery. Another book, Legend by Marie Lu. That one hooked me too. It is just so addicting, the plot, it changes and twists but never confuses you.
