Gaining muscle, gaining confidence, gaining strength — for tweens, there is so much TO GAIN!

So take this iTwixie challenge: In 2 weeks, how can YOU become iTwixie’s Biggest Gainer?

Just do one of these three things and enter your results in the comments below by February 10. We’ll post the first gains by the first 12 girls. Then, on  Monday, February 11, we’ll vote for the first, ever, iTwixie Biggest Gainer. The winner will be announced on February 19.

1. Gain Muscle – Measure your bicep today and then again on Sunday, February 10. See if you can gain a little muscle in your bicep in the next two weeks. Try doing 10 push-ups 3 times a week, or curling soup cans 20 times, 3 times a week, or even try playing catch with your parent three times a week. Make sure it’s good with your parent to try these, ok? You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can gain a little bicep muscle! Go get measuring and let us know!

2. Gain Confidence – How can YOU gain confidence in school? For example, can you do something you usually don’t do, like raise your hand FIRST to give an answer in class? Volunteer to be a helper? Say “hi” to a kid who is sitting alone? You’ll be surprised at how these kinds of things may make you nervouse at first, but once you complete them, you’ll feel a huge boost of confidence. Try it! Tell us how it goes.

3. Gain Strength – See if you can do 16 lunges today. It’s hard! Make sure you ask your parent if it’s good for you to try them, ok? Then do these same lunges 3 times a week and see if you can do them more easily by February 10th. As it gets easier to do lunges, you will be able to feel how you’re gaining strength.

Have fun, iTwixie girls! Can’t wait to see if YOU will be iTwixie’s first, Biggest Gainer!
