Are You Our Next Winner?
iTwixie Word of the Week

Way to go, @diy-gurl4ev! You are our Word of the Week Challenge Winner! Congratulations! Now just send your parent’s mailing address to info@itwixie.com within the next 30 days, and we’ll send you a PRIZE! How cool is that?

Here’s @diy-gurl4ev‘s sentence using last week’s really challenging word, burnish: I must burnish the vase because it is part of my chores. Burnish is a really tough word! Great work, @diy-gurl4ev!

THIS WEEK’S WORD OF THE WEEK: POSTULATE. Postulate means to propose or hypothesize.

This week’s word is a really difficult one! We postulate that many of you are afraid to try and write a sentence because it’s such a difficult word. But you can do it! Don’t worry! Just try! Get writing those sentences, girls. So good luck! Someone is going to WIN next week and maybe it will be YOU!

Here’s How the Word of the Week Challenge Works:

Check with iTwixie every Wednesday at 9 am Eastern Time to see who won last week’s challenge and get the new word for this week. Then just write a sentence in the comments section below. All week long, we’ll collect your sentences and we’ll use a random drawing to select a winner by the following Wednesday morning, at 9 am. The winner will get a cool prize! It’s that easy!

  1. She tried to postulate how long it would take to heal her blistered toe.

  2. I postulate that my grades will go higher this year and I’ll get A honor roll ! ^^

  3. I postulate that this week’s word is truly too challenging! No one has written a sentence using it! So tell us, smart girls, why haven’t YOU written a sentence using postulate, this week’s word of the week? Is it too challenging? Postulate means to make a guess based on facts you know to be true. So I postulate that perhaps you all aren’t comfortable with the word postulate, so you don’t feel like you can write a sentence using it that will make sense. Is that correct? Well, if that’s the case, do you feel more comfortable using it now? Give it a try! Someone’s gonna WIN! :)
