Review This! Saving Mr. Banks
Savingmrbanks

Did you love the movie Mary Poppins when you were little (and maybe even a little bit now?)

Then, you’ll probably want to see Saving Mr. Banks to see how the Disney movie actually got made.

If you’ve seen — or are planning on going to see the new film — we’d love to hear your thoughts. Share your review below — or just vote in our poll!

  1. hmm. I want to watch it but I can’t watch netflix until tuesday so I can’t see it.
    :( :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

  2. Love this movie!i love how they make it feel so…..real!definitely a must-see

  3. This is a wonderful story but so sad in the end;I was about to cry. I felt like I was her and it was all a blur.

  4. I was sooo moved by this film! (It was also very funny!) but thinking about Mary Poppins and the “real story” AKA what it was based on it was sooo different! Love it!!!

  5. This is a very moving story! It is about the making of the original movie Mary Poppins. It goes back to her childhood as well. You’ll have tears in your eyes almost the whole way through!

  6. I want to see very much, but although it is based on true events, it is severely Disney-fied. In real life, P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins, hated the film, and was crying and begging to be let into the premier. She wanted her book to have nothing to do with the Walt Disney Company.

Looks like an excellent film though. I bet Ms. Travers would dislike this movie too.

  7. This movie is based on a true story. It is the best movie that has ever been made. It is both a comedy and sad at the same time. She wrote Mary Poppins based on her childhood. Where her aunt (mary poppins) comes and tries to save the father (mr. Banks). I recomend this movie to all ages and hope you love it as much as I did!
