When Cassidy (girl in the picture) was 9, she decided she wanted to make more people in Canada aware of epilepsy. That was in 2008! Today, March 26, is Purple Day all over the world because of Cassidy. How totally cool is that?
Cassidy wanted others to understand what epilepsy is because of her own experiences having it. She also wanted people who have epilepsy to be able to talk about it with others and know they are not alone. Now you know and you can spread the word by wearing Purple!
