Take this Word of the Week Challenge
iTwixie Word of the Week

Congratulations,  @shamrock313! You are our Word of the Week Challenge Winner! Way to go! Now, just send your parent’s mailing address to info@itwixie.com within the next 30 days, and we’ll send you a PRIZE! How cool is that?

Here’s @shamrock313‘s sentence using last week’s word, adventurous: Adventurous means that you’re not afraid to try new things, to put yourself out in the world without a doubt.

Way to go, @shamrock313!

This week’s word
is: perseverance. Perseverance means keep trying and working at something, even when you face difficulty or hurdles that can make you want to stop or give up.

What kind of things will you need perseverance for in 2015?

gtn sticker logoPerseverance is what makes us successful. There comes a time when we need to try harder and decided NOT to give up in order to achieve our goals or to get better at doing something. A lot of times, this is the reason why girls see themselves standing out on the tennis court: because they persevered when the practices, skills and drills became challenging. Check out iTwixie’s Girls Tennis Network Club! Join today and tell us what you think about playing tennis!

How iTwixie’s Word of the Week Challenge Works

Check with iTwixie every Wednesday at 9 am Eastern Time to see who won last week’s challenge and get the new word for this week. Then just write a sentence in the comments section below. All week long, we’ll collect your sentences and we’ll use a random drawing to select a winner by the following Wednesday morning, at 9 am. The winner will get a cool prize! It’s that easy!

Good luck, girls!

  2. In 2015 i will try to be more adventerous as sometimes i can be a bit boring just sitting on my phone a lot not really being very social

  3. My dad and I were playing basketball and he told me that I had to have perseverance to be able to make the shot. So I kept trying and I finally made the shot. :)

  4. I have the perseverance to keep trying, and trying, to succeed at my school’s production of “Hairspray”. :)
