Vote for the iTwixie Writer of the Month for December! The winner will get a writer’s journal! The winner will be announced next week on January 4th. SO get voting!

Just read all the entries and vote for your fave in the poll below:

1) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…. super- console. “Where did you get this?” I ask. “I have no idea, sweetie.” Mom says. This super-console can play any kind of console game on the market,  new or old. Nothing like this could possibly exist on the market…maybe Santa is real…  ~ LadyPrestige

2) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…Cute little Yorkie Puppy bounced happily out staring with it’s black beady eyes. “Awwhn he’s cute,”I whimper.
“I agree,” Mum said.
“Can we keep him?”I ask.
“Yeah. What should we name him,” Mum asks.
Smiling brightly I answer “How about…Miracle?” Mum nods softly.   ~ PrincessKatniss

3) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…Dueling Glove! I freaked out! It was blue and purple! “Oh My Gosh Mom thank you!” I lept up and gave her a HUGE hug. “Merry Christmas Caroline.” She smiled. I slipped it on, a perfect fit. “Now I can REALLY train to be a Duel Master!”

4) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…black mask? “What is this?” I asked pulling it out. Mom picked up the tag and dropped it. “Sweetheart,” she said. “It’s from your father. After all this time…I need to tell you something.” I put the mask down and looked at her. My father had abandoned us when I was born. “You’re father has…gifts. He’s not an army general like I told you. He’s,” she sighed, ” he’s a superhero. And he died recently.” I laughed, “Good one mom.” She smiled sweetly. “But that would mean I…” “You were born with his powers, Sophia. You can grow wings, claws, a tail, can breath fire, and can travel through dimensional gateways.” I looked at the mask and put it on. I stared at my mom steadily, “If dad is dead someone needs to take his place. I will accept the challenge of it.” That’s how I became Razorwing.  ~ Razorwing

5) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…package of 500 mini doughnuts. Oh, no. Any other time. Any other time. You see, I’m on a huge diet because I might get qualified to go to a national gymnastics meet. You have to weigh under a certain amount, and if I see something I love, like doughnuts, I’ll be tempted to eat them. Great, just great.  ~ Headnosegirly8

6) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…it was a journal. Inside was a bunch of weird writing. What could the writing mean, I kept asking myself. More importantly who was it from?

7) “What is it? What is it?” I found myself screaming, as I opened the gift as quickly as I could. The red package, tied with white and blue ribbons, felt heavier than the 10-pound weight I used to build up my biceps. My mom just stared at me, looking as puzzled as me. And then we both saw it. A…dog!! The dog starred at me with big brown eyes. I  just looked at my mom, ”I didn’t get you that ” she tells me! The dog was at least 4 weeks old and looked like a german sheperd. I went to touch it and it woofed. I jumped and it came out of its box. It sat down and I realized there was a note tied to it’s neck. I slowly reached down and took  it off. The note was short saying only ‘listen, listen carefully’. I stared and listened. I didnt hear anything. then there it was a tiny scratch at the door as if someone was there. I run to the door and open it. My breath caught and I couldnt believe it. “Dad dy?” is all I said. He was still in the army uniform but he he had a smile on his face. “Daddy!” He finally came home.  ~ LittleMissStyles
