Take a gallon of water, put it in a pitcher, add 3 sliced lemons, and drink a glass a day all week long. Enjoy! Here’s why:

Add Lemon?

  • They provide vitamin C to fight off illnesses
  • The antioxidants in lemons helps keep our skin, organs and brain

What’s the deal with water?

  • Water helps to keep your skin looking clear and healthy
  • Water helps your body control its temperature – too hot or too cold? – drink some water!
  • Water helps muscle tone and washes away the acids produced by hard exercise
  • Water can even reduce headaches, muscle aches and itchy skin!

The food with the most votes was Seaweed (nori)! In honor of that choice, we have a recipe here for you to try with seaweed! What do you think?

Nori Salad:

You will need:

2 tablespoons red wine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon tahini

1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup dried lotus root, rehydrated
1 big sheet of nori, torn into 1cm square pieces
1 cup fresh baby kale leaves

cut up chicken or beef jerky (optional)

You will:

1.  Mix the first 3 ingredients for the salad dressing and set aside.
2.  Mix the next 4 ingredients in a salad bowl.
3.  Sprinkle the chicken or beef jerky over the top of the salad.
4.  Sprinkle salad dressing over the top of the salad.
5.  Serve and enjoy!
