Happy Chinese New Year!
February 3, 2011
0

For families that celebrate the Chinese New Year, there are special traditions:

  • In the weeks before the end of the year, families repaint their houses and thoroughly clean to sweep out bad luck, clearing the way for the good fortune of the New Year.
  • A two-week celebration with special food and family gatherings.
  • For two to three days, there’s a hustle and bustle, the busiest travel time of year in China, Korea and Vietnam because, to be together with family and loved ones.

Do you or any of your BFFs celebrate the Chinese New Year? What do you do to celebrate?
