Let’s get running! First, make sure your parents say it’s a good idea for you. Then get started with these three easy steps this week. You’re going to love it!

1. Grab your BFF and plan to run this week together on three different days

2. Plan to run for about 10 minutes each time this week

3. Work with your parents to choose a great, safe place to run together, such as your school’s track, your recreation center or your neighborhood.

Important: Do not run fast or try to race each other yet. In fact, it’s really important for you to chat while you’re running this week! If you can chat and run, your pace is perfect for getting started. Plan to take turns telling a story, a joke or see if you can each find ten things you want to do this Spring.
