Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have found that by getting more sleep you can build up a higher resistance to colds. In their study, when adults got less than 7 hours of sleep they were 3 times as likely to develop a cold. So, if you want to avoid getting a cold, all you may have to do is get a good night’s sleep!
