Today our mates in Australia celebrate their national holiday, Australia Day! So happy Australia Day to all of our wonderful Aussies iTwixie girls!!!
This national holiday commemorates the 1788 landing of British settlers in Australia. It’s a celebration of all is Australian. The Woggan-ma-gule morning ceremony in Sydney recognizes the indigenous, or native, peoples of Australia. It’s a true, national celebration and there is something for everyone — from ceremonies to concerts, parades to beach festivals, and, everyone’s fave, fireworks.
There are a bunch of iTwixie girls from Australia, too! Check out what it’s like to be an Aussie girl!
Here’s to a great nation and great friends — Cheers to Australia!!!
