Researchers studied how students answered questions when they sat in different positions — the students were asked to “sit up straight” and “push out their chest” or “sit slouched forward with their faces looking at their knees.” When the students sat with good posture they gave better answers! Why? Sitting up straight gives us self-confidence! And so when we sit up straight, we might actually get better grades!
Isn’t that incredible?
