You may not be trapped in your body like Melody, but …

1. Have you ever wanted to tell someone exactly how you feel but you just could not find a way to do it? What did you do?

2. Have you ever wanted to make a new friend and felt that you could not make yourself look “cool” so that person would give you a chance? What happened?

Just put your thoughts about each of these situations in the comment section below! Each entry will give you a chance in a random drawing to WIN!

This week, our friends at DiscoveryGirls are giving a lucky reader a free year of their uber cool DiscoveryGirls Magazine! The reader will be chosen by a random drawing from all the entries in the comments below.  The more often you write a comment to one of these questions the more chances you have to WIN:)

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, August 29!

If you haven’t started Out of My Mind, no worries! There’s still time! Start reading now and check back next week for more ways you could win a free year of DiscoveryGirls Magazine!

Thank you, DiscoveryGirls Magazine! You rock!

This is what Dolphinlover1283 has to say about this book: “Girls, you have to read this! This book will change your perspective on many things! You will love the main character (Melody). I know it’s really cliche how everyone’s raving about their favorite books, but this one is a must read!”

From littlebit219: “Best…Book…Ever!! This book DEFINITELY keeps you wondering.

It’s about a 11 year old girl named Melody. She can’t talk. She can’t walk. And she can’t write. Melody’s very stiff in her body. The only way she can communicate (And not very much), is a little board on her wheel-chair with simple words like “Yes” and “No”. Here’s the twist: Melody has a photographic memory. People think she’s VERY dumb, and stupid…except her parents and Mrs.V, one of her favorite persons. Mrs.V teaches her things Melody didn’t think she could do. The rest is a surprise.

I definitely recommend it for anyone and everyone!”
