Try Making a Protein Smoothie!

For each serving you will need:

 

  • 1 cup berries, any kind fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup silken tofu (softer is better!)
  • 2 Tablespoons pomegranate juice
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger

You will:

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth; this takes seconds. You can add more honey if you want your smoothie to be sweeter.

 

Nutrition Information: This is a great source of protein, antioxidants, fiber, and carbohydrates.
