Yoga stretches and strengthens your muscles using different poses and positions. It takes concentration and practice. That’s why Yoga can calm and focus your mind!
Try out this basic Yoga move! It’s called “Downward Facing Dog”
1. Start on your hands and knees like a dog. Keep your legs about hip-width apart. Point your fingers ahead of you.
2. Breathe in slowly and get ready to put your feet flat on the ground.
3. Breathe out slowly and straighten your legs. If it feels uncomfortable, bend your knees a little! Keep your shoulders from creeping up to your ears.
4. Focus on your feet. Breath slowly. VOILA! You’re doing Yoga!
