1) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood I have so many plants! My Aunt gave me a cactus to plant. We used to have radishes, Now we have marigolds! Flowers, Fruits. I love my plants!  ~ Joyandpeaceonearth

2) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood Pari. My worst enemy since preschool. When she cut half of my hair off using scizzors. ON PURPOSE! She walked up to me and said “Are you ready for the thrill of a lifetime? You are going down!” I thought she moved to Wisconsin! She must have come back. Oh no! What will I do? (this story will be continued on my blog)  ~ shopgirly

3) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood a griffin.
“What-?!” I say.
It then transforms into a cat.
“Hello,  Matilda,” it says to me. “I’ve been waiting for you.”
Everyone stares at me.
“What is this?! Some kind of sick joke?!”
“If it is, the joke’s on you.”
I get hit in the back of the head. I wake up on the back of a flying griffin and that cat still by my side.
“Where are we going?”
“To Neverland. The lost boys need a motherly figure.”
When we arrive, the lost boys welcome us with a celebration in honor of my arrival.  ~ DarkAngel1

4) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood an unfamiliar girl, with her arms out wide. She wore black from head to toe, with choppy, black hair. No matter how hard I thought, I could not recognize her. Happily, she cried to me, introducing herself. Taking a step back, I realized that she was my best friend. Or what my best friend had turned into. My best friend was the opposite of this monster – she hated black, she wore cute clothes, and she was everything but the girl standing in front of me.  ~ TrueJul99

5) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood a bunch of school supplys – paper, pencles, crayons, books. My teacher said that we were ganna send all the supplys to africa for schools that cant get the things they need for school. So all day we made kits out of the supplys. When i went home that day I told my mom all about it.
She said, “thats cool. Would you be interested to go to africa?”
I said i will think about that and i went up to my room. i laid on my bed looked at the ceiling(this is how i think)and i thought would i want to help them i could meat new people. yes i would. i went downstairs and said to my mom yes. she turned around and smiled i went back to my room and wrote in my jurnal “Today made kits for kids in africa for school mom asked me if i want to go i think that would be cool”
the next day i went downstairs to get a bowl of cereal but i smelled bacon and eggs! i looked at my mom there she was all puffy eyed but …  ~ spinner119

6) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood my worst nightmare.Jason! The tall, dark man was my step-dad, ex-step-dad. He was a terrible man. I thought I had defeated him trying to gang up with a ravenous goblin and kidnap innocent children. I was a prey of their evil scheme too but I had somehow gotten Johnathon jailed. Yet here he was, in my school right before me. I was defenseless. An evil grin took over the man’s face.
“We meet again Gillian.”
This didn’t sound good.  ~ Aimen

7) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood a supicious man with a purple, shiny top hat. He was wearing a lavender tuxedo, too. His hair was light blonde, his eyes sky blue. He reminded me of Willy Wonka! “Hello, class, my name is Mr. Smith. I will be your teacher this year.”
The class said nothing, mouths open. But Mr. Smith didn’t seem to mind. He skipped to his desk, completely unaware of the awkwardness that surrounded the room . Was this crazy man really my teacher?   ~ ILoveWaffles

8) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood my best friend ,Tina, talking to one of my other friends! I couldn’t believe my eye’s! Tina had moved to Africa 1 year ago and promised that if she ever came back, it would have to be a very urgent matter. We had spent the day together before she left. She had taken me out into the woods behind the local part and had explained to me why she was leaving. If she ever came back, then i had to start my quest. Yeah, i said quest. She turned and smiled at me. I felt a cold knot suddenly rise up in my stomach. This wasn’t good, not at all.  ~ austingirl365

9) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood my bff, that i havent seen all summer long!!! we ran up to each other and gave each other big hugs. we told each other all about our summers, and apparently she had gone to alaska!!
“no wonder i didnt get any emails!” i said to her, and she laughed.
then we heard our new teacher say, “take your seats class.”
i am soooooo glad that my bff i in my class!  ~ missmonkey

10) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood my crush, Lander. He walked over to me and put his hand out. I was confused for a second and had no idea what to do? Should hold it should I slap it, What should I do! So I put my hand out and he gave me a hand shake! OMG, he held my hand! And from that day on I had the confidence to talk to him more and even give handshakes!   ~ oceania10

11) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood an elephant! I waz super confused on how to get to class without being late! Then I looked at the wall and saw a sign saying to walk through it so it could check for metal in my backpack! I dicided I needed to run through it! I ran and on the other side was tons of candy, flowers, and money!!!!!!!!!  ~ kellycow

12) I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the first day of school, and right in front of me, barring my way into my classroom, stood my mom!
“Hi, Honey.” she says.
“Um…Hi, mom. What are you doing here??” I ask trying to sound pleasant.
“Oh.. You forgot to bring you lunch!” she said. “Oh and that boy over there,” she points to my crush. “I see why you like him!!”
“WHAT!?!?” I say.
“He is so cute, just like you said!”
Why in front of my class out loud?!?!? ~ jacmelgirl101
